Reviews
What system owners say
Seven weeks from the first call to interconnection. Our summer bills are basically zero and the app shows every kilowatt-hour. They handled the whole micro-gen application.
We got three equipment options with a clear price for each. The crew was done in two days and left the yard cleaner than they found it.
Our grain dryers and shop use the most power in late summer, right when the panels produce the most. Our utility costs dropped by about half.
FAQ
Before you ask
Does solar make sense in Alberta?
Southern Alberta is one of the sunniest regions in Canada. Typical residential payback is 9–13 years, and panels last 25–30 years. The calculator above gives you an estimate for your home.
How does micro-generation work?
Your system powers your home first, and surplus goes to the grid for credits on your bill. We file the micro-generation application with your wire service provider.
Do I need a battery?
Not for savings alone. A battery makes sense if you want backup during outages or charge an EV overnight.
What about snow and winter?
Panels on a pitched roof shed snow quickly. Winter months are already built into our yearly production estimate.
Are there rebates?
Federal, provincial and municipal programs change often. We check which rebates and financing options currently apply to your address and handle the paperwork.
