QR Code Menu Ordering App with Kitchen Display for Restaurants

Tavola is a QR menu that actually takes orders. Guests scan the code on the table, browse dishes with photos and allergens, add a note and send the order. It shows up on the kitchen display right away with a timer, while staff see which tables are waiting for food, which want the bill and how much is open. You edit the menu yourself and hide a sold-out dish with one click.

What the app does

A QR menu on every table

Photos, descriptions, allergens and prices on the guest phone, no app to install. The table number comes from the code.

Orders go straight to the kitchen

No paper slips and no retyping. Notes like "no onions" and extras arrive exactly as the guest wrote them.

Kitchen display with timers

Large tiles readable from across the kitchen that change color when a ticket waits too long. One tap to start, one to bump.

Tables and bills

Floor plan with free, occupied and waiting-for-bill tables. Close the bill by cash, card or mobile pay and print the receipt.

A menu you edit yourself

New dishes, prices, photos, extras and allergens in a minute. Switch off a sold-out dish and guests can no longer order it.

Sales overview

Revenue by hour, average ticket, best sellers and how many orders come in through the QR menu.

How an app gets built

1

A call

You tell me how you work today and what slows you down. I show you the closest demo.

2

Plan and fixed price

A list of screens and features, a deadline and a price before work starts.

3

A new version every week

You see progress live and change things while it is built, not at the end.

4

Launch and training

We move your data over, I train the team, the app goes live on your domain.

FAQ

Pricing is on request - send a short description and you get a proposal. You get an exact price after a short call, once I know how many tables you have, whether it needs to connect to your POS and whether you do takeout.

For a single restaurant, hosting is typically €20-60 a month. Several locations or online payments with delivery are €60-150. Maintenance and new features are by agreement - hourly or a monthly plan.

No. They scan the QR code with the phone camera and the menu opens in the browser. Staff can add the app to a tablet home screen like a regular app.

The kitchen display and staff app keep open orders and continue working, and changes sync once the connection is back. Guests need a connection, as with any online menu.

You do. You get the source code and a full data export. No commission per order and no per-table subscription.

Yes. A common first phase is the QR menu with the menu editor in 3-4 weeks. Ordering, the kitchen display and tables are added later without rebuilding what already works.
